Eduard Kubatov

Eduard Dzhumakadyrovich Kubatov — President of the Mountaineering and Sport Climbing Federation of Kyrgyzstan since 2022, Director of the State Agency for Tourism Development under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. In mountaineering since 2014. In that year he ascended Lenin Peak (Ibn Sina, 7,134 m). In the period from 2021 to 2025 he ascended the peaks: Everest (8,848 m), Manaslu (8,163 m), Lhotse (8,516 m), Makalu (8,485 m), Annapurna (8,091 m), K2 (8,611 m). Among other peaks to his credit are Khan Tengri (6,995 m), Ama Dablam (6,812 m), Aconcagua (6,962 m), Elbrus (5,642 m), Kilimanjaro (5,895 m), and others.
