Section "Khan-Tengri" (Tokmok)

Founded in 1975 by Georgy Guber in Tokmok. By 1990, the club had over 40 members, including five CMS.

Achievements

Notable ascents of 7,000-ers were made by Tokmok climbers while participating in the "Selmashievets" club. Snow Leopards: Georgy Guber, Nikolai Bakin, Tamara Bakina (Wagner), Vladimir Wagner. In 1988, Guber took part in the Khan-Tengri ascent via the centre of the East Face.

The Tokmok team competed in All-Union competitions: 3rd place (1985, Osh), 4th place (1986, Dushanbe), 1st place (1987, Cholpon-Ata). By 1990, the club had over 40 members, including five CMS.
