Achievements

This was a club focused on mass participation, drawing many newcomers to mountaineering. It made over two dozen first ascents of Grades 1-3 difficulty in the Terskey Alatoo range and organized long multi-day mountain treks. One of its trainees, Azim Aitbayev, became a USSR CMS in mountaineering and later the head of the CSP at the "Ala-Archa" mountaineering camp.
